Paint Your Heart Out Shreveport! - Celebrating 20 Years in 2012

Greetings:

My how time flies when you're having fun!  It is both a pleasure and a privilege form me to be the Coordinator for Paint Your Heart Out Shreveport for it's 20th year anniversary. 

Over 1,100 houses have received a complete exterior face-lift in the past nineteen successful years.  We wouldn't be able to do it without the many volunteers who give of themselves and their time each year.  We also wouldn't be able to do it without the sponsors who give in-kind and financial gifts to support out program. Last, but not least the staff of the Department of Community Development who puts in many hours to make sure that everything is done in time for the big day.

The 2012 event is scheduled for Saturday, May 19 2012.  Our goal is to provide minor exterior repairs and painting, free of charge, to 50-75 houses through out the city and we can't do it without the enthusiastic participation of our volunteers
