Rollover Accident Sends Two to Hospital

A accident at the intersection of Dalzell Street and Gilbert Drive sent two people to the hospital this morning

around 8:30 am. after their vehicle rolled over and landed in the front yard of a highland home. Andrea Brown, 20, said that she was traveling west on Dalzell when her purse fell into the floorboard and as she went to retrieve it ran through the stop sign at the Gilbert intersection. Brown’s 96' Dodge Neon collided with a late model Ford Probe driven by Donna Brice, 32, of Shreveport, sending it airborne and over onto its roof.

Firefighters and paramedics treated Brice and her passenger Adam Vigil, 14, for minor injuries at the scene and transported them both to Willis Knighton-Pierremont. Brown was not injured. ###
