Weed and Seed to donate school supplies

Queensborough/Ingleside Weed and Seed will donate school supplies to six local school beginning at 10 a.m. Tuesday.

Police officers will leave from the Weed and Seed office at 2701 Portland. From there they will make stops at Midway, Judson, Lakeshore, Queensborough, Werner Park and Fair Park schools.

The school supplies were donated by a number of individual contributors as well as business. Items like pencils, paper, notebooks and crayons will be given to children who have little or no school supplies.

Walgreen Drug Stores, 3555 Greenwood Road

New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church
