Fire Department Announces Promotions and Retirements

Fire Chief Kelvin Cochran is proud to announce the following promotions . . .

Captain David Dice to District Chief. Chief Dice, a 28 year veteran, will oversee one of the department’s five fire districts, each encompassing 5 fire stations, that makeup the emergency operations division. Additionally, Chief Dice will provide incident command at emergency incidents.

Fire Fighter Kenneth Pharr to Fire Driver. Driver Pharr’s new responsibilities include the master operation of all fire department equipment and maintaining engineering responsibilities of the fire engine or ladder company at a fire scene.
