December 12, 2009 - Mayor Glover orders all City of Shreveport Flags at Half-staff in Honor of Fire Battalion Chief Tommy Adams Today, the Honorable Mayor Cedric B. Glover has issued an executive order to have all flags in the City of Shreveport lowered to half staff in honor of Fire Battalion Chief Tommy Adams who passed away this morning at 2:30 a.m. The order is effective immediately and will remain until the funeral services of Chief Adams. “I am truly saddened at the passing of Chief Adams. He and Traci have fought difficult battle since his tragic accident on February 21st. Chief Adams served this City with grace and dignity over the years. Our condolences are extended to Traci and his two beautiful daughters,” said Mayor Cedric B. Glover. |
