December 8, 2010 - Juvenile Convicted of Two Counts of Negligent Homicide Today, Fire Chief Brian Crawford announced the conviction of a 14 year old juvenile who intentionally set fire to the Autumnwood Apartments at 9050 Youree Drive on May 18, 2008. The juvenile pled guilty to two counts of Negligent Homicide--the fire took the lives of two children. Fire Chief Brian Crawford stated, “I commend the two fire investigators and the police department for their persistence to assure that those who commit crimes in the City of Shreveport are brought to justice. Fire Investigators worked diligently for more than two years on this case.” |
