Parade vendor permit deadline nears
Anyone wanting to sell souvenirs or other items at this year’s Mardi Gras parades has until 5 p.m. Thursday to apply for a vendor permit.
The permit, which must be issued two weeks before the first parade Feb. 2, can be obtained in Room 120 of Government Plaza, 505 Travis St.
The permit costs about $40 and is good for both parades. For more information, call the James Bowie at 673-5591
