Police are searching a man who entered the Holsum Bakery Thift Shop on Bowie Street and robbed the store of cash.
The incident occurred about 1:50 p.m. The man, who is believed to be a black male in his early 20s, picked up two loaves of bread and went into the office area of the store. He confronted the manager and demanded money from the register.
The man said he had a gun, but he never showed it to the manager or another employee. After getting the money, the man fled the store on foot, headed north on Hearne Avenue.
The suspect is described as a dark-complected black male with brown eyes, between 5'7" and 5'10" tall and 130 to 160 pounds. He has a thin mustache and was wearing a black leather zipper-style jacket, black jeans, black shirt and a black stocking cap with a silver logo on the front.
