ABO office to close for move

Shreveport Police Department’s Alcohol Beverage Ordinance Office will be closed Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday to move from the City Annex building to the ground floor of the Shreveport Police Department.

The ABO office handles alcohol-related business, such as the issuance of ABO cards and alcohol permits.

The move is part of the Shreveport Police Department’s renovation plan to bring all offices under one roof.

The new ABO office will be located in Room 96, located on the ground floor of the department, located at 1234 Texas Ave.

On Thursday, Feb. 14, the office will reopen for business. Its new hours will be 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and from 1 to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
