Fingerprinting office changes hours

Effective Friday, March 1, Shreveport Police Department’s fingerprinting services will be done between the hours of noon and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Fingerprinting is required for taxi permits, and some jobs and schools also require it.

The old hours were from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays.

Anyone needing to be fingerprinted should go to Central Records, which is located on the ground floor of the Shreveport Police Department, located at the corner of Murphy Street and Texas Avenue.
