Police search for purse snatchers
Shreveport police need the public’s help in locating two purse snatchers who took a teacher’s purse this morning.
The incident occurred before school in the 7600 block of Cornelious, which is the location of Caddo Middle Magnet. As the teacher walked to the entrance of the school, two black males ran up behind her and took her purse. They then fled east from the school into the Eden Gardens neighborhood.
The suspects were two black males. Both appeared to be in their early 20s. One black male was light-complected, and was wearing a gray sweatshirt. The other was a dark-complected black male wearing a dark shirt and a knit cap. Both were about 5'9" tall.
