Police search for rape suspect

Police are looking for a 28-year-old Shreveport man wanted for two counts of forcible rape.

Jarvis Edwards is accused of raping a 17-year-old girl while pulling her into his house in the 2600 block of Thayer and forcibly raping her. The incident occurred on Sept. 19, 2001.

Edwards also is accused of raping another female in September of 1999. The woman was 24-years-old at the time of the incident.
