Two employees of two different businesses were injured today during separate robberies that took place in West Shreveport this afternoon.
An employee of the Fina station in the 3100 block of Hollywood was grazed in the leg by a bullet after a robber shot at her. The robber, a black male, entered the store and approached her with a gun, demanding money. The clerk ran away from the robber, and the robber then fired a couple of shots at her.
As this was taking place, another suspect entered the store. After the shots were fired, the two suspects fled the store. Once outside, one of the suspects then fired a shot at a customer who was walking up to the store. That customer was not hit.
The primary suspect is this robbery is described to be in his early 20s, 5'8" tall with a medium build and braids in his hair. He has gold teeth and was wearing a black jacket with a hood over his head.
Shortly after this robbery, an unrelated robbery took place at an apartment complex located at Southern Oaks and West 70th Street. The incident occurred when a manager pulled into a parking spot, and a black masked suspect approached her vehicle with a gun in his hand.
After demanding the woman’s purse, she opened the car door and gave it to him. He then hit her on the head with the butt of the handgun and fled the scene in a maroon car.
