Police investigate beating of homeless man

Shreveport police are trying to find out what happened to a homeless man who was found beaten at a vacant house near Stoner and Highland.

The man, whose identity is not known, is believed to be in his 50s. He was found about 6:30 p.m. with head trauma. Paramedics transported him to LSU Hospital where he was listed in serious condition last night with facial fractures and head swelling.
