Police seek woman for felony theft

Shreveport policeare seeking a woman wanted for felony theft in connection with embezzling more than $13,200 from her employer.

Gay M. Smith, 40, of Shreveport allegedly took money that was meant to be stocked into an ATM machine at the Airport Texaco where she worked as a manager.

The theft is believed to have occurred between Oct. 1 and Nov. 16, 2001.
