Police look into internet-related sexual assault

Shreveport police are investigating a sexual assault that occurred to a 42-year-old woman in the 2800 block of Mackey Lane.

The woman reportedly had met the suspect on the internet and talked with him twice on the phone before meeting him at his home about 3 p.m. Monday.

The suspect reported to be a message therapist, but a message he offered the woman reportedly went too far.

No arrest has yet been made in this case. But anyone who may have been approached by this individual is asked to contact Detective Rita Caldwell at 673-6955.
