Police investigating homicide

Shreveport police are investigating a homicide that occurred in the 7200 block of Legion Circle at 11:15 p.m. last night.

The victim, a 28-year-old black male, was found lying face down with several gunshot wounds. He was taken to LSU Hospital, where he was pronounced dead a short while later.

Police are working to develop suspects in this case and determine a possible motive. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 673-7000 or the detective’s office at 673-6955.
