Police arrest two in Legions Circle homicide

Two people were arrested early this morning after warrants were issued for their arrest in connection with homicide that occurred in the 7200 block of Legion Circle at 11:15 p.m. Monday.

Koschine Pineset, 30, and Kashiwa Pineset, 29, both of the 200 block of West 78^th Street, are charged with first-degree homicide.

They are accused of shooting 28-year-old Carvis Brown. Brown was found lying face down in a yard with several gunshot wounds to the chest. He was taken to LSU Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
