Police seize 25 pounds of marijuana

Shreveport police seized 25.3 pounds of marijuana and more than $6,200 in cash at a home in Cedar Grove early this afternoon.

Police reported suspicious activity at the house in the 700 block of West 69^th Street and discovered marijuana and hashish hidden throughout the house. Hiding places for the marijuana included a kitchen garbage can, a clothes dryer and a spice rack. Police also found scales for weighing the drugs.

The drugs have a street value of approximately $20,000.

Arrested in the bust were Rolona Williams, 26, of the 4100 block of Union; Cedric Williams, 26, of the 700 block of West 69^th Street and Clance Creel, 28, of Keithville. All are charged with possession of Schedule I with intent to distribute.
