Police investigate homicide on Lakeshore

Shreveport police are investigating the apparent homicide of a 59-year-old Shreveport man.

The body of Willie Bonier was found about 8:30 this morning inside his home in the 2700 block of Lakeshore. It appears he had been deceased for two or three days.

Police believe he died of some type of head trauma, and the Caddo Parish Coroner’s office will conduct an autopsy.
