Police arrest man for Lakeshore murder

Shreveport police have arrested a 20-year-old Shreveport man on a charge of second-degree murder.

Johnathan Rochell, 20, of the 2300 block of Marion is accused of killing 59-year-old Willie Bonier.

Bonier’s body was found about 8:30 a.m. Tuesday inside his home in the 2700 block of Lakeshore after he failed to show up for work. It appears he was killed Monday.

Police believe Rochell and Bonier were fighting when Rochell shot Bonier in the head.
