Man wanted for aggravated rape arrested

A man wanted for attempting to have sex with a 6-year-old girl turned himself into Shreveport detectives today.

Donald Wayne Carroll, 39, of Shreveport is charged with aggravated rape, aggravated oral sexual battery and molestation of a juvenile.

Carroll is accused of attempting to have intercourse with a 6-year-old girl in August of 2001. Bond has been set at $150,000.
