Man found dead in the woods
Shreveport police are investigating the possible homicide of a man found in the woods off Coate’s Bluff Drive this morning.
The man, whose identity is not yet known, was found about 9 a.m. by two bicyclists who were riding on a trail off Coate’s Bluff Drive.
The man is a black male believed to be in his 30s. Police believe he died of a gunshot wound, but an autopsy is being conducted by the Caddo Parish Coronor to determine cause of death.
