Man arrested for raping teen

A 25-year-old Shreveport man is behind bars on a charge of aggravated rape of a 14-year-old girl.
Freddie Wade, 25, of the 600 block of Harrison was arrested this morning at his home. He is charged with raping the girl Monday morning after he allegedly entered her house through a window and attacked her while she slept.
Wade had recently bonded out of Caddo Correctional Center while awaiting trial for the aggravated oral sexual battery and armed robbery of a 62-year-old woman in May of 1999. He was also on probation for an unrelated charge.
Bond for Wade has been set at $300,000.
