Police seek man in shooting

Shreveport detectives are looking for a man wanted for attempted armed robbery.

Nakia S. Bates, 28, of Shreveport is wanted in connection with an attempted robbery and shooting incident that occurred in the 5900 block of Bernstein last Tuesday, May 28.

Jesse McWilliams, 17, was shot in the right knee during what the victim said was an attempted robbery. He was taken to LSU Hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
