Police investigate reported rape of 9-year-old girl

Shreveport police are looking for a suspect who reportedly raped a 9-year-old girl about 10 a.m. this morning.

The girl was forced into a vacant house in the 600 block of Hyde Park and raped. The suspect, who was wearing a red shirt and black pants, was masked.

The girl has been examined by doctors and it appears she was indeed raped.
