Woman wanted for taking band group money

The treasurer of Woodlawn Band Parent Inc. is wanted for bank fraud after she allegedly wrote checks to herself and her husband from the band group’s account.

Jacqueline A. Scott, 36, allegedly wrote $7,130 in checks from the band’s account and deposited them into three separate bank accounts.

The checks required two signatures, and it is believed Scott forged the second name of board members onto the checks in order to deposit them.
