Man wanted for identity theft turns himself in

A man wanted a charge of identity theft after he allegedly used someone else’s information to obtain business credit cards turned himself into police today.

Dexter Anderson, 39, came to the Police Department about 3 p.m. today.

He is accused of using his business partner’s personal information to obtain a business MasterCard and Visa card. The business partner, who went into business with Anderson to own a restaurant franchise, did not know about the cards. Anderson allegedly used the cards to charge $12,400 worth of goods and services.
