Two arrested for armed robbery of Subway

Shreveport police arrested two people suspected of robbing Subway in the 1400 block of Kings Highway early this morning.
Shawn Williams, 20, and Jerald Ceasar, 18, both of the 2900 block of Samford, were arrested at their home after a police K-9 tracked the suspects to the location. Both are charged with armed robbery.
The pair allegedly robbed the Subway restaurant about 4:30 a.m. There were customers inside at the time, and one of them reportedly followed the suspects. They were arrested less than an hour later.
Some of the money stolen in the robbery is believed to have been recovered.
Investigators are looking into the possibility that these suspects may be involved in other recent robberies.
