Police arrest woman in overnight homicide

Shreveport police arrested an 18-year-old Bossier City woman for the overnight homicide of 46-year-old Drexelle McBride of Shreveport.
Alisha Jean Disotell of the 200 block of Yarbarough Drive in Bossier City is charged with second-degree murder.
Disotell and McBride reportedly met in a bar in the 2100 block of Greenwood Road. Disotell was to take McBride home, but instead they went to a parking lot in the 5300 block of South Lakeshore.
The two reportedly got into an argument, and Disotell then allegedly pulled out a gun and shot him. McBride was found shot in the chest inside his van at 11:30 p.m. Monday. He died in route to the hospital.
The suspect was arrested at a hotel at Greenwood and Interstate 20 about noon today. A handgun, the suspected murder weapon, was recovered in the room.
