Man sought for second-degree murder

Shreveport police are looking for a man wanted on a charge of second-degree murder.

Byron Cox, 25, of the 2900 block of Meadow is wanted for the fatal shooting of 25-year-old Roderick Williams. Williams was shot on the front porch of a home in the 3900 block of Crosby early Saturday. He had a gunshot wound to the head.

A motive for the shooting is under investigation.
