Man arrested for armed robbery

A Shreveport man has been arrested and charged with the armed robbery of Johnny’s Pizza.

Carl Tedder, 29, of the 200 block of Rutherford Street is accused of robbing Johnny’s Pizza in the 3900 block of Gilbert Street on Wednesday.

The incident occurred about 1:30 p.m. when a man approached the clerk armed with a handgun and demanded money.

The robber got the money and left the store in a what was believed to be an older model Ford Fairmont.

Tedder was located in a Ford Fairmont a short time later.
