Police investigate bank robbery

Shreveport police are looking for a man who robbed the Regions Bank at 1633 North Market about 10:03 a.m. today.

The man, dressed in an orange and dark-colored suit and straw hat, approached the teller with a note, which indicated he had a gun and wanted money. The man had a brown bag with him, that he had the teller place the money into. He then left the bank and fled on foot down Barton Street.

The man is described to be a black male, 6'2" tall and 200 pounds. If anyone has information on this case, call Crime Stoppers at 673-7000 or the detective’s office at 673-6955.
