Seven to be promoted September 30th

Seven Shreveport Police Officers will be promoted by Chief of Police Jim Roberts Monday, September 30^th. The ceremony will be in the Assembly Room, located at Shreveport Police Headquarters, and will start at 2:00 p. m. The officers to be promoted are as follows:

• David A. Crawford will be promoted to Captain. Crawford joined the department in February of 1978.

• Glenn A. Schach will be promoted to Captain. Schach joined the department in February of 1978.

• Ronald J. Smith will be promoted to Lieutenant. Smith joined the department in February of 1982.

• Douglas E. Garsee will be promoted to Sergeant. Garsee joined the department in March of 1990.

• Willie L. Shaw will be promoted to Sergeant. Shaw joined the department in March of 1990.

• Timothy A. Gray will be promoted to Corporal. Gray joined the department in January of 1993.

• Laura M. Sorrells will be promoted to Corporal. Sorrells joined the department in January of 1993.
