Woman killed in shooting

A Shreveport woman was found deceased in her residence after being shot two times, allegedly by her ex-boyfriend.

Lalanda Mitchell, 29, of the 3000 block of Anderson was found dead about 11:22 p.m. Wednesday.

Her ex-boyfriend, 23-year-old Marlon Coleman of the 3200 block of Darien Street, has been charged with second-degree murder.

A Shreveport police officer found Coleman riding a bicycle that he used to leave the scene of the crime. He was arrested after the officer chased him.
