FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

I-20 westbound at Pines Road shut down

An overturned cement truck has tied up westbound traffic on Interstate 20. The road closed about 1 p.m. and is expected to be closed several hours so crews can remove the vehicle, which reportedly was loaded with 60 tons of cement.

No one was injured, but traffic is expected to be backed up for hours.
