Cpl. Peck to be terminated

Cpl. Jimmie Peck Jr., arrested Tuesday on a federal charge of bank robbery, will be terminated as soon as he can meet with Chief of Police Jim Roberts.

Peck submitted a resignation letter on Tuesday, but Chief Roberts will not accept it.

Peck has been with the department since August of 1990. He was placed on administrative leave immediately after Shreveport police arrested him Tuesday and turned him over to the FBI and the Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office.
