Man found deceased in home

A man was found deceased in a vacant house in the 1500 block of Easy Street this afternoon.

Willie D. Gooden, 56, no address available, was found just after 1 p.m. by another man. The home was used by transients.

It is believed the man had been deceased for several days, but it is unclear how he died. There were no obvious signs of trauma to the body.

The body will be taken to the Caddo Parish Coroner’s Office for an autopsy.
