Four officers get promoted

Shreveport Police Department promoted four employees during a ceremony this morning. They are:

    • William D. Flynn Jr., promoted to captain. Flynn has been with the department since February of 1978.

    • James K. Baker, promoted to lieutenant. Baker has been with the department since February of 1982.

    • William J. Nelson, promoted to lieutenant. Nelson has been with the department since February of 1982.

    • Terry D. Alexander, promoted to sergeant. Alexander has been with the department since June of 1987.
