Two men were apprehended by Shreveport Police today for pointing a gun at Fair Park High School students.
The incident occurred about 11:30 a.m. today in the high school gym. Students noticed the two men walk into the gym. Shortly afterward, one of the suspects pulled a gun out his waistband, racked it and pointed at the students.
The students took off running and the suspects left the gym, fleeing the school on bicycles.
The suspects were spotted at the McDonald’s near Jewella and Greenwood. After brief foot pursuits, both were captured.
One of the suspects told officers where the gun was hidden, but no gun was located.
Those arrested were Alonzo Williams, 19. He is charged with terrorizing and carrying a firearm on school property. The second suspect is Antonio Brown, 21. He is charged with terrorizing. Williams was booked into the Caddo Correctional Center, and Brown was booked into the City Jail and is awaiting transfer to CCC.
The two suspects told police they went into the gym to find girls. It’s unknown why they armed and pointed the weapon.
