Officer resigns

Chief of Police Mike Campbell has announced the resignation of a Shreveport Police officer who was arrested Thursday afternoon.

Sgt. Alain Pierce, 39, of Bossier City resigned from the department this morning after 18 years of service.

Pierce was arrested Thursday by the Bossier City Police Department for pornography involving juveniles.
