Join the Shreveport Police Department, Louisiana Safe Kids Inc. and the Ark-La-Tex Chapter of Think First at a Kids Safety Day this weekend.
The event runs from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. this Saturday, May 8, at Downtown Festival Plaza.
On hand will be everything fun for kids – face painting, clowns, a bicycle rodeo, snow cones, popcorn and other refreshments. Of course, safety information on bicycle riding, child safety seats and other topics will be addressed. There also will be a bike giveaway and coloring contest.
The public is invited to attend this free event.
