Police are hoping a citizen has information about a robbery suspect who is currently suffering from bite wounds inflicted by a police K-9 over the weekend.
The robber was bitten by a police K-9 after he and two other men robbed the Thrifty Liquor store at 8420 Linwood Avenue. Officers responded to the scene in time to see the robbers leaving the store. A perimeter was created and K-9 officers responded to the scene.
One suspect was located by a police K-9. He was bitten twice but managed to escape from the dog.
Three guns were located, along with other items used during the robbery.
All three suspects were armed during the robbery. They are described as follows:
Suspect 1: black male, 6'2", about 260 pounds, muscular, wearing all black, a ski mask and gloves.
Suspect 2: black male, 6'1, about 220 pounds, wearing all black, a ski mask and guns.
Suspect 3: black male, 5'9" to 5'11" tall, 160 pounds, wearing all black, a ski mask and gloves.
