Police investigate shooting

Shreveport police are investigating a shooting that occurred this afternoon in the 1700 block of DeSoto Street.

Reginald Davis, 23, of Shreveport was shot in the shoulder as he was walking down DeSoto Street. According to reports, three black males in an older model Oldsmobile approached him and fired shots.

Davis ran, and the suspects fled. Davis was then transported to LSU Hospital by private automobile.
