Shreveport detectives are looking for a Shreveport man wanted for attempted first-degree murder for an incident that occurred early Sunday.
Shon Shaw, 30, of Shreveport is wanted for attempted first degree murder for ramming his car into another vehicle his girlfriend was in, causing both vehicles to crash into pine trees in the 7600 block of Red Fox Trail.
Following the crash, Shaw allegedly pulled the girl through the car window, took her into the woods and beat her with a tree limb.
As a result of the criminal act, the girlfriend’s neck was broken. Shaw’s mother was with Shaw at the time of the incident and received a broken pelvis and laceration on her arm as a result of the crash.
The incident occurred at 12:10 a.m. because Shaw reportedly was upset that his girlfriend had gone out with some of her friends for the night.
