Home and personal safety course to be held

Shreveport Police Department will host a two-hour home and work safety awareness course on Tuesday, July 6.

The course will teach citizens about home security and give them techniques to make their homes more secure. Instructors will also address personal safety and work security issues.

The course runs from 6 to 8 p.m. on July 6 at the Shreveport Regional Police Academy, 6440 Greenwood Road.

The class is free and open to anyone. Call 673-7170 to register.
