Police look for suspects in Cross Lake Grocery robbery

Shreveport detectives are hoping someone will recognize one of the robbers involved in a holdup of a convenience store at 8:30 p.m. last Sunday, June 27.

Cross Lake Grocery in the 5200 block of S. Lakeshore was robbed by two black males who claimed they had a gun. The one who said he had a gun made the clerk go to the back of the store.

When the clerk was gone, the suspects took off with two cases of beer and several cartons of cigarettes.

The tape shows one of the suspects clearly, and it is possible someone will recognize him. He is wearing a white t-shirt with colored sleeves, a black doo-rag and jeans. He is tall and thin.
