Man shot in leg

Shreveport police are investigating an exchange of gunfire between two people that left a Shreveport man shot in the leg.

Robert Taylor, 23, was found bleeding in the 2000 block of North Hearne Avenue about 10:25 a.m.

Witnesses said Taylor exchanged gunfire with an unknown male. The shooter left the scene.

Taylor was taken to LSU Hospital. He also has been charged with illegal use of a weapon. The reason for the shooting is unknown at this time. The investigation continues.
