Police investigate Family Dollar robbery

Shreveport police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred at the Family Dollar in the 3700 block of Lakeshore last night.

At approximately 8:00 p.m. the employees were in the process of closing the store for the night. The suspect pointed a handgun at the two employees and demanded money. He got an undisclosed amount of cash and left the store.

An investigation is underway to determine the identity of the suspect.
