Shreveport police arrested Jarrod Stroud, 21, last night on one count of aggravated robbery. In the early morning hours of August 21, 2004, Stroud allegedly beat and robbed William Williams, 36, while inside a Texaco station on Mansfield Rd.
Williams was inside the Texaco when Stroud pulled up in a car. Stroud entered the station, bought two beers, and returned to his car. Later, when the clerk was emptying the trash, Stroud returned and jumped on Williams, kicking him in the face and neck, and taking his wallet. Williams was treated for non-life threatening injuries.
Stroud was booked into Caddo Correctional Facility.
